Purchased this item twice for my niece who turned six, originally chose the size 5-6 which was pretty snug so decided to go up a size to the size 7-8 but that also was quite small. I adore the design and colour, they’re super cute with great quality/thickness but I think this range needs tweaking with the sizing and suggested size range/age. My niece only just fits a size 6 in most clothes so I would say go up a size even, two sizes if you are considering buying a set.
